Conceptualized through a collage, this painting is an exploration of how our capitalistic society’s focus on wealth affects happiness.

Exploring the color green, I mixed a tube of green paint with a variety of colors. I contrasted shades and tones of green side by side and explored the use of black to create depth.

Painting who I saw myself to be at the moment, I depicted my clothes as a collage revealing my worries and insecurities.
